Botswana - Chobe National Park

After our time in Livingstone, we joined our new truck and guide, and headed off to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Starting with Chobe, we are in for a two weeks of game reserves and national parks. We only spent one day at Chobe but we still managed to see some wonderful wildlife. Starting with an early morning game drive we managed to find lots of elephants, giraffes, and birds along the Chobe River. After a lazy afternoon, we took to the river for a sunset cruise. This turned out to be a fantastic way to see the animals up close (and for Phil to drink a bit too much from the "Goon Bag" - translation: Sack-O-Wine). I've got loads of photos to upload so I'm going to keep these posts short for now - captions to come!

This first set of photos are from the morning game drive.

This second set was taken during the river cruise.
